Genetic finger printing in the Stephen Lawrence trial

Have you been listening to news articles and reading in the newspapers about the importance of forensic evidence in the recent Stephen Lawrence trial and subsequent conviction of the two accused. DNA profiling/genetic  fingerprinting was of utmost importance in the trial.
